PAYjr Visa Buxx Card
The PAYjr Visa Buxx
Card is a reloadable prepaid card designed just for
teens.
This prepaid card gives teens flexibility and
spending independence, in addition to teaching them
personal financial management. Money earned through
the completion of chores,
recurring allowances, even gifts can be loaded onto
the PAYjr Visa Buxx Card electronically.
The PAYjr system also provides SMS text messaging or
email notifications to keep parents
and teens aware of card activity, including balances
and loads to the PAYjr Visa Buxx Card.

How PAYjr Works:
1. Sign Up
You must be a parent or guardian
to enroll a teenager in the program.
There is no credit check necessary and your
teen does not need a bank account, but we
will need to collect some information from
you in order to enroll your teen for a PAYjr
Visa Buxx Card. We must collect this
information due to the USA PATRIOT Act *,
which is a federal law requiring all
financial institutions to obtain, verify,
and record information that identifies each
person that opens an account.
2. Verify Bank Account
We will divide your first load to the PAYjr
Visa Buxx Card into two random transactions
and debit them from your checking account.
PAYjr will then ask you to view your bank
account online or contact your bank directly
to determine the two random amounts. Once
this step is completed, your account will be
verified and you can proceed to load the
PAYjr Visa Buxx Card or order additional
PAYjr Visa Buxx Cards.
3. Activate the PAYjr
Visa Buxx Card Your teen's PAYjr Visa
Buxx Card will arrive in about 10 days. Once
you receive the PAYjr Visa Buxx Card, you or
your teen can activate the PAYjr Visa Buxx
Card by logging on to the PAYjr website or
by calling the automated telephone system at
1-800-881-1969.
4. Earn Smart. Spent
Smart. Use the PAYjr website to check
your balance, track spending, load the PAYjr
Visa Buxx Card, set up custom alerts, and
teach your teen to manage their money.
